E20 - SHORT SHADER
This brush has the shortest hairs of the bunch and is designed to apply colour to small tight areas as well as being able to blend. It's densely packed bristles add a really sturdy feel so a very light hand is needed when using the E20. I love working with brushes like this as they help to add product to such fine areas around the eyes.
E30 - PENCIL
This is a very popular style of brush and can be found in many professional makeup kits. I really like Sigma's take on this pencil brush and how they have incorporated it into the collection. This is ideal for adding color to very fine areas around the eye such as along the lash line as well as blending out eyeliner creating a soft effect. I did find this to a be a bit firmer than previous pencil brushes which is a huge plus for me.
E44 - FIRM BLENDER
I really like both the length and feel of these bristles. It's dome shape packs on color niclely and can cover quite a generous area of the eye making eyeshadow application that little bit more effortless. This not only places color well but can easily blend out any harsh lines.
E57 - FIRM SHADER
Every brush kit needs one of these. I like to see this type of brush as a basic eyeshadow brush but getting your hands on one with the right feel can be another story. Some brands can come with different hairs and tend to be a bit flimsy which wastes product as well as creating a ridiculous amount of fall out.
I have found the E57 an absolute dream to work with. This brush applies just the right amount of pressure needed for more control and holds colour really well. Love it!
E58 - CREAM COLOR
This style of brush is also quite popular and works very well with cream based products. Its flat dome shape not only helps with a more precise application but also covers a larger area on the eye. I like to use the E58 for applying and blending out both cream shadows and bases.
E59 - WIDE SHADER
This is a wide shaped brush, wider than the Shorter Shader, and has densely packed bristles. It applies a solid even amount of colour and is ideal for a quick makeup look. I really liked how it needs such a small amount of product for a full impact eye look.
The quality of this kits is fantastic and the price is very reasonable too.
