This product consists of ten eyeshadows altogether with matte to shimmer finishes. The neutral shades are mainly in matte form so they can accompany many other shadows as well as the colours that are in this palette. There is a generous amount of shadow given and it's good to see so many colours available as smokey eyes do not have to only consist of neutrals.
I personally like to add a bit of colour to a smokey eye on myself and there are purple, greens, blues and plums within this palette. There are also brown and grey tones included to accompany a colour or neutral eye. The shimmers are still subtle with great colour pay off and they are so easy to blend, as with all other Urban Decay shadows, which is key to a smokey eye. I really like that they have included a 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in 'Perversion', as reviewed before, so there's alot more bang for your buck and what would a smokey eye be without a good strong black eye liner.
Urban Decay also have a travel size original Eyeshadow Primer Potion as part of this set, to keep your eye look lasting all day and all night which is also a huge bonus and a step-by-step look book to show you how to make the most out of this palette.
The outside packaging itself is very travel friendly as it is soft which helps prevent any damage to the shadows. There is a zip built in for sealing the palette so there is absolutely no chance of any opening that could potentially happen with a clip close palette. I am also very fond of the sleek design and how easy it is to keep clean. There is also a mirror built into the lid for applying on the go or for touch ups.
Overall this palette offers a great range of colours ideal for a strong smokey eye and, with such variety, there are many different options to choose from.
